Delve into accessibility
The assignment
During my internship at DPG Media, I got the question whether I would be willing to give a presentation on how to improve the accessibility of the apps of De Volkskrant and other DPG brands. My immediate reaction was yes. I saw this as an ultimate opportunity to learn more about the subject.
Final result
The gathered information from the trip to the muZIEum, the masterclass and the interviews with visually impaired people were all put together in the presentation. One of the interviewed people also helped me with the presentation. She attended to elaborate more and make my more complete. This presentation led to a shift in focus. In the whole company they're busy working on accessibility.
