Interaction with Libelle

more fun for Libelle's app users

The assignment

Libelle is a Dutch women's magazine that reaches over 4 million people per month. However, there is currently limited interaction between users of the app and the magazine. Both parties are eager to see this change.

Final result

The interviews clarified that the users are excited about livestreams, polls and send in advices. Small interactions like sending support through leaving a heart was something the users did not really enjoy. Commenting was not recieved good either.

Screens

With the time I had left at DPG Media, I set up a real world test for livestreams in the app. Unfortunately the editorial did not have enough time to go through with this before my time at DPG was up.

flowchart of the prototype

The app revolves around fun and inspiration. In this prototype it's all about the fun and interaction to test what users think.

Research in all its shapes

In this project research was a central point. To explore how I could engage users better, I engaged in ideation with what I could immediately conceive, conducted interviews with stakeholders, interviewed the users, and researched competitors.
